Children: We have two children; Russ is 4 and Colleen is 2.
Interest and Hobbies: We are a family that loves to spend time together. Matt loves being outdoors exercising, working in the yard and playing with the kids. Meg loves spending time with her family wherever we are! She especially loves music and drama. Both children are involved in various extracurricular activities. Russ loves music and is showing interest in playing the guitar. He just finished his first soccer season and is about to begin his first year of t-ball. Colleen is looking forward to starting dance lessons and loves music of any kind.
Home: Our home is a spacious, two story home with 4 bedrooms and two and a half baths. We live in a neighborhood full of children. We live next door to our family friend of many years who is like a surrogate grandfather to our children. We live two doors down from our very best friends. We have a large, fenced-in backyard that is perfect for playing on the swing set and playing games.

Finances: We are financially stable and have savings in place to secure our family financially.
Why are you interested in building a family though adoption? After years of infertility and the inability to have a biological child, we were blessed with the adoptions of Russ and Colleen. We learned that adoption is God’s plan for our family, and our desire is to continue to grow our family in this way.
Openness to Birth parents: We desire an open or semi-open adoption. We would love to communicate through letters and pictures and will determine further contact as our relationship with the birth parent(s) grows.
Childcare Plans: Meg stays at home now with the children and will continue to do so when the new baby arrives.
Statement of Faith: We believe that Jesus is the Son of God. We believe that He died a sacrificial death so that we might have eternal life. Our faith is not just about religion; it is about a relationship. Our family is active in our church, and Matt and Meg serve in various ways. We desire to live a life that honors Christ and to share that with our children as we disciple them in our home.
